This is a great studio! The masters make learning tae kwon do a really fun experience. They know how to engage with little kids (4-6 yrs old) and keep them focused - all while teaching them different exercises and skills. The masters begin each class by asking students about their school day or what plans they have for the upcoming weekend. They encourage students to try new skills (kicking, punching, blocking, stances, etc.) and give gentle reminders about right side vs. left side, which is especially helpful for little kids. The studio also hosts a monthly 4km running day at Castro Valley High School. It's a family-friendly event. Participants even get certificates afterwards! I highly recommend this studio.
I am so happy we found this place through a friend. We started here in February 2021, and could not be happier with my kids' progression both physically and mentally. My oldest had a hard time finding a sport she liked, and she had stuck with it for almost a year and a half now! Excellent owners and instructors, friendly and family type of atmosphere.
