“I orginally came to their offices to utilize the services of Sohia Ahmad who is a tax attorney to correct a situation that another tax person created. After that visit I continued to utilize the services of her parents for tax preperation and have been using their combined services for many years now. Sophia has always been a charm to work with, pleasant and very knowledgeable. Imtiaz (her father) took me a bit longer for me to more fully readtand understand. Yes, he is blunt, very straightforward, and his humor in my opinion is dry. As such we've have had several go arounds to understand each other over the years, but I assure you, he knows what he is doing and he does it well. You have to remember that tax preparation is dependent on just how prepared you are with your documents and how well you have set up your accounts. “I requested a quote from Shawn for tax preparations. He returned my call within an hour after I left a message. I ended up not working with him for my tax services and I'm very thankful for his honesty. When we spoke he explained to me that my situation was more simple than his usual clientele and advised me that I don't need a CPA for the type of small business I have. CPAs have different rates/levels of service and charge more than tax preparers. (For obvious reasons) I appreciate the fact that he called me back when he didnt have to. Since he didnt really intend on winning over my business. I also appreciate that he didnt try to charge me his normal rates for a task that would have been child's play for him. I shopped around and many other CPA's tried to charge me between $700-1k with financial planning when I'm doing fine with my plans and just need help with filing my taxes.“
