Maria’s assistant is very wonderful & welcoming too and immediately my anxiety from the unknown went away and I felt calm! Her assistant was so gentle with my hair shampooing and conditioning it added to my relaxation. Maria is the most professional, friendly and educated hairstylist I’ve experienced in Santa Clarita! She is absolutely amazing with her talents, expertise in the field and teaching abilities; where she articulates her skills in a way I understood and felt confident in practicing at home. Did I mention how crazy talented she is? The investment I put into my hair that day with her knowledge, precision in the hairstyle & cut personalized to me and the products readily available to purchase was beyond worth it! I would absolutely recommend Maria to anyone, as a matter of fact my daughter will be going next. I have already told all of my family and friends about her because I have received tons of compliments since I left the shop! Also, Maria and I have come up with goals for at home care tips for helping my hair become healthier with less breakage and with future visits to maintain the cut with options of complimenting my hair with added highlights or lowlights if I choose which I love, as well! And I’m looking forward to it all! She has really added so much more confidence in me and I feel great again with my naturally curly gray hair. Thank you so much, Maria! After hearing the price, I went into a little bit of a shock as I've never paid what I was quoted for getting my hair done. So, I told her what I wanted and decided I would trust her completely. One of the best decisions I've made for my hair. I told her I was open. And, she still included me in the plan, asked permission, explained the process, was very professional, and thought of EVERYTHING a client may want or need to feel comfortable and taken care of. My hair feels healthier than it has in years. It was the perfect length for what I needed (all the dead gone and functional for working out in hot weather).Seriously, if you got curly hair, do yourself a favor and see Kristen. I am an extremely particular person when it comes to my hair. My hair isn't the easiest to work with, I have thick and wavy hair. I've been a brunette most of my entire life and my goal was to go blonde without damage.When I arrived to her salon, explained my goals and how important it was to keep my hair healthy. She touched my hair and knew exactly what to do with it. She was extremely confident and detailed as she was applying highlights and correcting my color. I immediately noticed and loved how she kept checking on each foil to make sure there weren't any areas that were over processing. Once we finished with the color and the toner I was so shocked at how beautiful the color had turned out. My hair was blonde!!!The exact blonde I was looking for! Not brassy! Not orange! Blonde!!!!!The color was exactly what I wanted and my hair felt silky smooth! I couldn't believe how healthy it felt after getting it lightened. I never experienced this. I have been coming to Liz for over eight years now! She seriously creates magic with her hands. She cuts my hair the way no one has.
