“Paige was the perfect stylist for me. She was patient and confirmed what I wanted before making any cuts. Listened to what I wanted & didn't do anything unexpected. “Veil of Grace was a 10/10 experience through and through. There are so many details in wedding planning in general and the VOG team was consistent and supportive! I received frequent communication and their team was always so responsive. Monet (makeup) is quite literally the best. She followed the initial inspiration I sent while also working with me during our trial and on day of to reassess what I wanted and what looked best. Leslie (hair) is the absolute sweetest and knows exactly what you need! She also drew from my inspiration and would ask if there were any changes, etc. Leslie and Monet made me feel confident and beautiful, and I received so many compliments the day of. I felt so satisfied with the outcome of my wedding day look! Their energy and support made this experience all the more. Not to mention, Sydney, the VOG manager, is so encouraging and an excellent communicator. I’m grateful to have had such a wonderful team be with me throughout this journey.“

“I got my makeup done here for my maternity shoot. This salon was recommended by the portrait studio. Astrik was my stylist. Booking was easy and the cost was great ($100). I was late and they were empathetic and flexible with me and still did my makeup. Astrik was professional and personable. I felt comfortable during the service. Yes, she brought me water (I am pregnant and cannot drink champagne). She asked for feedback about my desired look and applied it expertly. They provide all the makeup, but as I am a unique skin tone, I brought my own concealer and foundation and she blended them for me. I appreciated my stylist’s ability to work across her and my materials. Most importantly, my photos came out amazing! I enjoyed my experience and would return and recommend.“

She also has expert advice on what outcomes you’ll get depending on what you’re asking for. So there’s no surprises. She takes her time on your hair and has a soft, sweet, and pleasant demeanor. “Doris of Valley Gurl Skin just moved her business to the CUTEST witchy shop and I’m obsessed. Hair Havok is a hidden gem in Santa Clarita. I had no idea this oasis of living dead oddities existed in the unassuming Soledad Canyon plaza of SC but I am SO GLAD to have found it (thanks to Doris).

Doris has been taking care of my maturing yet still acne prone skin for about a year. I always leave her studio glowing, moisturized and relaxed. Adding on lash tints for the summer pool months (no mascara please) is a must. This was my first time at her new location, Hair Havok, where they also do hair, nails, waxing, lash extensions, and tattoos?! So rad. Besides Doris’s magic hands, today I splurged at the oddities shop and left with some delicious candles (I seriously wanted to purchase every one they offered) and some fun spooky tees & socks. “I wanted a layered cut that would bring out my natural wave and Maria delivered. My hair felt flat and heavy and I was hating it. She figured out exactly what I was looking for and her work was fantastic. She used pictures, good questioning, and her knowledge of hair to determine what I wanted.

This is the first hair cut I am absolutely obsessed with I can let it air dry, diffuse, scrunch, or blow dry and it looks fabulous each time. Thank you for my fave hair cut ever! I highly recommend her salon.“

I dug deep to find someone that would listen to me and actually get the color of my balayage
correct ...and have the technique to do so. I tried 3 ppl before finding her and I'm SO incredibly grateful. Not only is she talented and actually listens, but she is also kind and fun which makes spending a couple hours in that chair fly by. She is reasonable in her pricing as well, which makes it possible for me to afford to maintain my hair vs skip meals to afford getting my hair done and waiting 6 months to a year to do so again.. which makes it seem pointless at times.
