Best Barbers in Carson hands down. B is one of the best barbers I've had. I always left the shop with 100% satisfaction. The conversation was always friendly and chill. The whole process was smooth and relaxed. The other barbers are nice and welcoming as well. Highly recommend Cave Man Buzz
Oddly similar experience to the review before this one: I saw 2 people I grew up with in the photos, so I called a couple of times yesterday morning and didn't get an answer, so I went to the shop to see if it was open, and it wasn't, so I went home. Earlier this morning, I'm out running errands and I get a call from a number foreign to me, so I didn't answer. Got home and called the number back, and it was actually the shop. Brandon apologized for the missed calls, explained that he was off yesterday, and told me that he was at the shop if I still needed a cut. So I went and got a cut, and he did his stuff. Quick, professional, great at his craft and we know a few of the same people and went to, and, played ball at the same high school. For anyone saying he doesn't answer the phone, they're lying. He was off yesterday and his other barbers went in later in the day (explains the missed calls earlier in the day). He didn't miss a call my entire time there. When the convo wasn't about making an appointment, he told them he'd call back when he's done cutting ... I respect that. All in all, B is a good dude who runs his shop how a barbershop is supposed to be run. Good at cutting, good at line ups (didn't push my hairline back), and the price for the type of cut I get is reasonable. Bonus points for being open early too! I prefer getting things done in the mornings, so being able to get cut in the am is a huge plus for me. I'll definitely be back.
I tried to give this shop a chance yesterday, but the attempts failed. It says they open at 9am everywhere I looked, so around 10am I called without an answer, cool. Called again around 11, still no answer. I assumed they were busy cutting, and that's why no one answered the phone, so I drove to the shop around noon, got out of the car, and the door was locked. Not thinking, I assumed they stepped out to eat lunch, so I left and came back a bit after 1, and the door was still locked. I don't live close to this shop, so the time wasted calling, pulling up, leaving, then pulling back up with no success annoyed me. So why the 3-stars? It's math, 3 is the average. Seeing people I know and their kids in the pics - 5 stars Bc I've seen their fresh cuts in person on people I know - 5 stars for quality cuts Not being able to get in contact with the shop - 3 stars (should be 1, but stuff happens) Being closed while being advertised as open - 1 star Time traveling to and from the shop bc it's listed as open but was really closed - 1 star Life happens, but it seems like y'all not really open as early as y'all say, and if that's the case, change the open time to a time when someone's usually in the shop. My old barber upped his prices so much that he's no longer affordable for me (not your problem, I know). I see people I know in your pics, so you were the easy choice as my potential new shop, but I can't get in contact with y'all. I had to do my interview today looking rough. Not y'all fault, but it still sucks. I heard good things about "B" and "Ced" but I need a cut asap, and I'm not about to have another day like yesterday, so back to searching.
