I have nothing but great things to say about the very kind and wonderful souls who own and operate Max Relax massage in Carpinteria, Ca! I am a checker for Albertsons and as such I am constantly lifting and carrying heavy items and at the end of the week I am greatly in need of a great massage! Max Relax fills the bill on every way. They take walk-ins and I live in Oxnard but I make the drive up to Carp just to feel the wonderful relief from the talented hands and caring people employed by this family!!! Do your self a favor and stop in for an immeasurably comforting experience !!!

I just had a massage and I feel fantastic!! Went in aching , came out ready to go again. The couple that run the business are very nice . I have been going for years now . I read the other reviews and talked to the owners, they told me the man who apparently the people were upset about no longer works there. I am sure if they had been told what was going on they would have removed him immediately . . So reconsider if you have moved on .. It really is wonderful!

Camping for a few days at Carp and was so lucky to have found this place. Had the combo massage and chair/foot reflexology and it's just what the Dr. ordered!! It felt so great and you can't beat the price. They are very nice and I was even given a bottle of water while my feet were being massaged. I'll be back before my camping trip is over. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
