Stopped by at 1:45 on Saturday afternoon to pick up a few things. Unfortunately, we had beer or we could've used self check out. The weight was over a half an hour as they only had two checkout lines open with a lot of people shopping. Not real good planning here.

kid purchased a gift card from Albertsons on casitas pass in Carpinteria. the gift card had already been scratched and the code on the strip was blurred. we immediately took it back to the clerk working, even dug the receipt out of the trash can to give to her. Here we are 2 MONTHS LATER, waiting on a call or email and still nothing! DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS FROM ALBERTSONS ON CASITAS PASS IN CARPINTERIA!

I was in Carpentaria visiting for a few days. This Albertson's grocery store was the closest to where we were staying. So we shopped at this Albertsons quite often during that time. I hear that the town only has a couple of grocery stores. This being one of them. The store is a chain and carried major brands. The interior and fixtures was a bit dated but clean and organized. Customer service ran the gamut of exceeding expectations to some twilight zone interactions with staff. No major calamities though. We hit up the deli several times. There was one particular woman that I struck up a conversation with on a couple occasions and from the first interaction she was engaging and fun to talk to. Infectious positive attitude.
