It was a pleasure to work with Nicola. On the first day of meeting, he had the entire kitchen designed on his laptop within 30 minutes and an accurate quote was given on the spot.Throughout the process he was extremely responsive to calls and texts. communication was A+.The final product what was we were looking for, and hit our aggressive time deadline. He even helped us identify and fix a leak in the garage that we weren't even aware of. Would love to work with Nicola and his team again on the next project.
In January of this year my wife and I decided to undertake a complete kitchen re-build. We knew that we needed to take the kitchen back to the studs and start from scratch. We knew that we would be designing from a blank sheet of paper but we also knew that we wanted to incorporate important existing design elements of our home into the new kitchen. Having been involved in complex remodel projects in the past, I knew that we needed a contractor that could provided everything from design assistance to full in-house trade execution. We wanted a company that didn't sub out every component but rather did the vast majority of the work in-house, or, like in the example of our custom cabinet maker, a close working relationship. After a short search, we found InVision Design Build and after a brief interview we knew that Danny understood what we wanted and could deliver in a timely and professional manner. Due to supply chain issues we were unable to secure all of the high end appliances needed to complete the job. We didn't want to start demolition until all new appliances were in the house. Danny had a busy schedule but gave us assurances that when the appliances arrived he would be ready to move forward. He was true to his word. It took 4 months to get all of the appliances. Once they were delivered and sitting on our living room floor Danny's team went to work and completed our kitchen demo in two days!Our cabinet maker coordinated with Danny and was able to deliver and install within a week of the demo which gave InVision time to re-wire, plumb and prepare walls for the cabinets. My wife and I had already made the aesthetic design choices and knew exactly what we wanted. We had already purchased the stone slabs for the counters, the backsplash tile, the hardware for the cabinets and lighting. Danny worked with us and the internet became a critical research tool as we made decisions about storage and usability.InVision was extremely easy to work with. We had a high degree of confidence in the company from the get go. They never once let us down. We made a couple of late design decisions that could have been costly and time consuming but Danny just took it in stride and moved through the issues while always being upbeat and positive. Our entire kitchen from demo day to final sign off was a little less than 5 weeks. It would have been a bit less but there was a holiday mid-way and we lost 4 days. Any way that you look at it, a month is an extraordinary time frame for a bare- walls kitchen remodel. We helped by being prepared well in advance. We tried to not micro-manage the process which the guys appreciated I'm sure. Knowing exactly what we wanted helped of course. Danny's ability to render design ideas using his computer on site was marvelous.Anyone who is reading this review will obviously conclude that we are 100% satisfied, no actually thrilled, with our new kitchen. InVision is the best design-build company I have ever worked with. Every individual craftsman that entered our home was a top notch professional and they did stellar work.
