I'm writing this review in support of Dr. Cheryl Wood. Someone who described herself as a fellow alumnus of UCD left a nasty and undeserved review attacking Dr. Woods' character, very unfairly. For the record, Dr. Cheryl Wood is a kind, patient, caring professional. She saw both of my cats for over a year here where I live in Orange County, CA. I am so sorry to see her maligned by a nasty, critical patron. Dr. Wood got my two cats on a prescription renal diet at a crucial juncture, enabling them to stabilize. I don’t even know where to begin expressing my gratitude for everyone at Pet Vet Animal Hospital, on sherman way in winnetka/canoga park— from the front office to the back, Angie, Miguel, Dr. Gueta, Dr Lital-Kirszenbaum and any/all others whose name i might have omitted.
This vetrinarian office literally gives new meaning to what i have experienced in the past. A team truly dedicated in their profession and who love what they do.... and it so shows.

Pet Vet is fantastic. Dr. Kirszenbaum is warm, caring, and always takes the time to make you and your pet feel comfortable. Jonathan, the first voice you’ll hear on the phone, is endlessly patient and helpful, never rushed, always kind.
But the real star is Miguel, the vet tech extraordinaire. He’s a wealth of knowledge, incredibly kind, and brings a calming, gentle presence to every visit. Like a big teddy bear, he makes both pets and people feel safe and cared for.
This team goes above and beyond - highly recommend! 4/5 stars only because of their pricing.
