I've been riding on and off since I was a very young girl. Had two horses if my own. I rode by instinct. I wanted to learn how to ride with some skill and ability to communicate with horses. My friend introduced me to Robert and his wonderful staff. I am starting at the very basics and am amazed how much I am learning and improving over time. I am 70 years old and having a great time. Robert is great. Patient but clearly I charge so that I feel like I am learning each time I ride. I love coming to the ranch even when I don't ride.

I’ve been an avid horse girl since I was three years old. Grew up gentling horses and rescuing wild mustangs. When I decided to learn how to ride I ended up with trainers that only knew English disciplines and didn’t have much patience for the horses I brought in. Finding Rob was a godsend!!! Not only does he work with me, but he listens and understands and works with my horse as well! He’s incredible and his knowledge is through the roof. Every time I end a lesson with him I feel more connected to my horse and more confident in my riding….plus he’s hilarious and fun!

I can’t say enough good things about RJN stables! Robert is wonderfully talented trainer. He is calm and patient, building up your confidence and skills in no time. He teaches not only riding skills, but also horsemanship. It was important to me to train somewhere where the horses were happy too, and this is definitely the place! The horses are in big stalls, get plenty of turnout, and are very well cared for. The horses appear to transform under Robert’s care, many going from extremely difficult/unrideable, into calm, safe, prize winning jumpers.
