Normally I change my own oil, so I'm really in tune with oil prices. This time around I didn't have time so I went to Speedy Oil Change. I've been here many times before and I've really never had any issues. My Toyota takes 0W-16. I was told that my car starts at $109 for full synthetic. $109?? Why? This oil isn't special or rare and can be bought anywhere. Amazon right now as I write this, I can get Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy Full Synthetic Motor Oil 0W-16, 5 Quarts for $27. Since a normal synthetic oil change at Speedy is $74.97, why are they gouging people with 0W-16? They don't have to do anything different or special. The oil is changed exactly the same as any other car. I'm disappointed in this. I'll continue to change my own oil but I'll have to look elsewhere when I need a quick change. This is way too expensive and not reasonable.
Peter, the manager was very helpful and honored a coupon that had expired. They are more than fair and stand behind their work and word. Great service and great location. I Highly recommend.
