We would like to emphasize that we greatly appreciate Dr. Bronge, who is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients. Our low rating is not a reflection of his care, but rather of the front desk experience.
It has been extremely difficult to reach the office by phone or text during business hours. During the transition from the John Muir facility to the current location, we attempted for nearly three months to contact the office without success—calls and messages went unanswered. At that point, we began looking for a new optometrist for our family, until we were finally able to reach someone after repeated attempts.

The experience and service I received from Matthew Bronge was the worse I have ever had from any Optometrist. He didn't get my prescription right and when I went back for a reexamination ( which my insurance said to do) he was offended when I told him the prescription was wrong. I was not given a complete exam and he also charged me eventhough he had already been paid by my Insurance Company. He should have corrected his mistake without charging me. I am filing a complaint with my Insurance Company and the BBB.Do not waste your time or money on this Optometrist. He does not stand behind his service.
