I was a bridesmaid for one of my best friends weddings and Serena (the owner of L&R) did our makeup, including the bride. Serena also did the makeup for my sister’s wedding last year and we all loved it, so I knew exactly who to recommend! For both weddings, it was clear that Serena knew what she was doing to make the day run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. On top of that, we all have very different facial features and Serena managed to make us all feel beautiful and confident, even for my friends that can be a little more particular about their makeup. My stylist Serena, who is also the owner of the salon, always has me leaving the salon feeling like a new person. I’ve gone from blonde to different shades of red and she’s kept my hair feeling so healthy and has prevented damage to my hair. Whenever I have an idea, she always suggests the healthiest method to getting to the results that I want. I recently got the Flex Weft hair extensions that she suggested and honestly was the best investment ever. They are comfortable and low maintenance for me. Serena, the owner is god sent. I go to her for my tape in extensions & hair cut. I have tried other stylist in the bay area but she is by far the most experienced and thorough stylist I have ever been to. She takes her time to make sure her work is something she can take pride in. She is kind, professional, and affordable. I have been to other salons that charge significantly more and don't do half as well as she does. I am so grateful to have found her.
