Quiet hotel in a very peaceful location. Ideal for relaxing.
Wonderful time at this hotel! The pool is amazing and warm, soothing on a hot day you'd expect in the desert. The hallways to your hotel room don't have AC so they can be a bit hot, but you're never in them long. The only real concern I have is that, because this is a hotel and resort, the nighttime lighting will cause enough light pollution to block out some of the stars. But, I would go a couple miles down Yaqui Pass road and pull over to a safe shoulder so you get a full view of the night sky. Borrego Springs is an international night sky community, so don't miss your chance to see the Milky Way
This is a surprisingly nice place. The rooms are clean and updated. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a retro vibe, and while it probably hasn’t been updated since the 1970s, it’s clean and well maintained. Hats off to the restaurant staff. I had two good meals and will return given the opportunity.
I’m not a golfer, but this probably isn’t the place to play golf. Most of the greens are brown. I don’t know, maybe they are conserving water. Still, it’s a nice place to visit.
