compelled me to; I've been looking to have 600sf of tile installed in my home and a minor, minor bathroom remodel completed and Angie's List recommended this company, so I called multiple times and left messages. Finally, on the third attempt I spoke to the owners wife (co-owner) and told her what my project was and would entail, then for 45 minutes she proceeded to tell me how busy they were, how they can't get supplies in to finish work, and how there's no one willing to work for them. When I noticed their address was one block from my house I told her "we're neighbors and just let me know when you can make it to give me a quote, you can even walk here." Also, after she stated 'they couldn't find anyone wanting to work,' I told her that my friend (a retired 30 year experienced construction contractor) was looking for work and to get back into the industry and I'd send him their way. He did reach out to the owners because he already knew them from being in the business and in his words, 'they don't seem interested in employing anyone.' (Huh? I thought you could find anyone to work?) So finally after 35 minutes of conversation, the co-owner told me to send her an email so she can have my contact information and they'll come and look at my project and give me a quote 'the first week of December' (this was in August 2021). Here I am 5.5 MONTHS LATER still awaiting a measly quote from this company. I haven't received a single phone call or email from them. So I recommend don't bother with this company, they'll tell you how busy they are NOT running their business and never show up as promised (typical Bishop). Also, realize that they actually don't do any work themselves, they subcontract most of their work to other local businesses, i.e. plumbing to Dean's plumbing, Electrical to Rollins Electric, HVAC to Bishop Heating, etc....if you need that kind of work done just go directly to those businesses and cut out "Orth" because they just act as the middle man and tack on more money to do things you can probably do yourself.

We had an A+ experience with Orth from start to finish. They are responsive and personable, showed up as promised, then did the work quickly and to a very high standard. We need more contractors like this is town.Services: Refurbishment
