Great small town vet! Dr. Kim is kind, patient and caring. She is conservative in her treatment recommendations, which we prefer, so that our pets are not receiving unnecessary treatment.
I had heard nothing but good things about Dr. Kim and Bear City Animal Hospital since moving to Big Bear and asking around about vet clinics, and they absolutely lived up to everyone's praises when I went in for an appointment today!
The lobby is clean and spacious, and has separate dedicated entrance and exit doors so there are no traffic jams with everyone trying to go in and out together. There were lots of client pet pictures on the walls, which felt really welcoming and personal compared to other vet lobbies with nothing up, or just stock photos, that feel a bit sterile.

We visited Big Bear for vacation and my dog needed subcutaneous fluids because she has chronic kidney disease. I made an appointment and they were kind enough to schedule me with the vet tech. He was great with my dog and I was in and out very quickly and efficiently. I very much appreciated them doing this for a visitor and will be back on future visits!
