About Human-I-T
Human-I-T is a nonprofit organization with a commendable mission of reducing e-waste and providing refurbished technology to low-income individuals and families. The organization operates a clean, organized warehouse where customers can pick up hotspots and other refurbished devices. Customers have reported positive experiences with the hotspots, noting that they work well without any buffering or download issues, allowing them to enjoy their online activities seamlessly. However, some customers have experienced delays in the delivery of their orders, with one customer waiting over 3 days for a computer they ordered. The organization's marketing promises a 72-hour shipping time, and the customer was frustrated by the lack of communication and difficulty reaching the organization. Despite these occasional issues, Human-I-T is praised for its focus on helping families in need obtain low-cost internet access and responsibly recycling old electronics.
Other than some organizational kinks this is a nonprofit with a wonderful mission of reducing E waste, consciously recycling, and providing refurbished technology to low income. This is especially important for all children to have more equitable education opportunities.
Clean organized big Warehouse, went to pick up hotspot. The only issue was no parking available. Hotspot works awesome. No buffering, I can watch my YouTube videos, downloads problem free.
I am writing this review on February 6th. I say this because I ordered a computer on January 28th. My order status has shown awaiting delivery for over 3 days now. I got a good deal on a Lenovo because I am on Social Security so this is why I ordered here. The marketing says the product ships in 72 hours. What really irritates me is that I cannot contact these people over the phone. I even tried Facebook messaging. I don't have the money that allows me to get ripped off.I only hope this will convince someone to contact me and let me know what's happening with my computer.I am revising my review. Just received an e-mail stating my order has shipped. No tracking but at least it gives me some hope.
