I've known Dr. Knighton ever since I was a little kid as I went to school with their kids but my family has always taken all of our animals to either here or to their other place. Everyone who I've ever encountered at both places have always inspired me as I've always wanted to do vet med stuff but due to my health it's hard so I rescue animals in need on my own.
One of my bunnies had smacked her leg running around and flinging her legs and broke her leg right at the knee joint, they took me in despite being fully booked for the day and I ran over with Powder, they quickly examined her and put her in a cast, gave me medicine and helped me though her healing. I'm a very anxious pet owner so when my rabbit started sneezing suddenly, I immediately went into panic mode and made an appointment for him to get checked out. He was seen by Dr. Whitelaw who was calm, compassionate and receptive to my concerns. When the problem persisted after the initial checkup, she laid out a plan of action to help him feel better and made sure I was constantly in the loop. He ultimately needed dental surgery which was scary given he's so small, but Dr. Whitelaw and her staff took such good care of him and covered all the bases which I'm so grateful for!
