I do not recommend Mead Mortuary! My father's visitation was yesterday (11/28/2022) and to say I was disappointed is an understatement. When walking into the visitation room the first thing I noticed was a picture of a family smiling. This family was in no relation to us. There was not a sign in book for people to sign or even a pamphlet for his family to keep. His casket didn't even have a curtain around the bottom to hide the metal carrier. Our father's life was worth so much more than what was displayed. The lady greeting us was polite but the gentleman that was there was very sturn and rude. Loosing our father has left such a void in our hearts. Having a little bit of compassion goes a long way sir. Do better! My dad would have been disappointed that his wife (not our mother) did such a poor job of planning his visitation. Disappointed beyond belief.
I sure miss daryle, he's a good old boy and the son of buck, but its a family run business and they have been here forever so if its yours or mine time to go then the only mortician you need is Meade, fishoe
