A man name Victor Martinez knocked my door and promised that he can fix my iron gate for a labor fee $550. Then he said he need to buy the motor sensor and the remote controls. He said the motor sensor is $80 each and the remote control is $140 each. He get $500 deposit and $250 materials purchase fee and disappeared for the say. In the next day, he came at 2:30 pm, work for 30 mins, and got the another $200, and disappeared. The 3rd day, the same,,,, until today, his total charge for the project from $1200 (includes labor and the materials) raised to $2300! Today, he requested all money to continue the job, he threatened if we do not pay off ( with 30% completion of the gate repairing,) the cash now, he will put a lien to my property. He is a total criminal person. Be careful this Victor.

I don't know where to start, but we are outraged at the lack of professionalism and follow through with Rene and his business. We designed a custom Iron front door with him and 3 matching gates for our backyard. The project was bidded to take approximately 8 weeks from start to finish. We finalized the design, ordered, and gave him a 50% DEPOSIT in November 2019. It is now April 2022, almost 3 years later, and we still have NO FRONT DOOR.....Beware, these positive reviews from a few customers are likely fictitious or family members who are trying to market his business. He has extremely poor Communication skills, does NOT pick up phone calls or respond. So my husband would periodically go and visit his warehouse almost weekly; in which, Renee would continuously make false promises about coming to install. We took days off work numerous times and he was constantly a NO SHOW. After approximately 5 to 6 months of waiting, he came and installed some of the gates, but then had to come back because they were installed incorrectly, with a large gap for our dog to escape from and they were NOT powder coated as had been agreed upon. Sadly, the largest part of the project, which is the front door (about $3,800 of the $5,300 dollar bill) has still NOT BEEN DELIVERED or INSTALLED. He is demanding more money to install. He is DISHONEST and a Crook is our conclusion at this point. Spare yourself the HEADACHE and FRUSTRATION and burned money, because you will NOT get what is promised. Sadly, he started 3 other projects for a friend and his neighbors and they had the same miserable experience. At this point, our only option is taking a legal course of action to at least get our money back and start with a new reputable companty.
