My grandpa came to Garden View Post Acute after a stay at Queen of the Valley Hospital. The transition between the hospital and to the nursing facility was made easy by Edith and Ana from the admissions team.I can't say enough about the amazing care he received. From the very beginning, the nurses went above and beyond, they treated him like family. You can tell how much they love their patients and their jobs, because the compassion and patience they showed my grandpa every single day was incredible. Dr. Singh took wonderful care of him as well, always making sure we understood his plan and that my grandpa was comfortable. Having a doctor who was so attentive and kind gave us a lot of peace of mind. The kitchen staff was also awesome. They made sure to accommodate his food preferences and any little requests. The facility itself is spotless, which really shows how much pride they take in creating a safe, clean environment for the residents. I have to mention Miriam, the Activities Director, she is such a bright light. Her energy, kindness, and creativity bring so much joy to the residents, and it was wonderful to see my grandpa enjoying the activities she put together. My mom was admitted here for physical therapy and occupational therapy, the rehab staff did an awesome job getting my mom to walk again. Aurora, Christina, Kamille and Myrla keep me informed of my mom progress and help me bring my mom back home safe. The staff at Garden View are very welcoming and this place doesn't smell like other places.
