“I am a 23y/o female that had double hip surgery from CAM FAI impingement/ labral tears ,and moderate/severe scoliosis (35 degrees). I was suffering (and I mean in terrible shape, extreme impact to my life) from hip joint pain, low back pain, and worst of all a very intense sciatic pain. I saw Dr. Galen for ortho needling. This form of needling is slightly more aggressive than tradtional needling and oriented towards injury. I had tried more traditional in the past without nearly as much benefit, which is why speaking with the Dr. is so important to find what is right for you. This treatment helped so much. I couldn't find anything that would provide relief besides some from steroid injections- but it would not last. The needling and corrective exercises he taught me have me back doing what I love - road tripping, camping, hiking, biking, you name it. Needling was our primary focus, but I also did cupping, gua sha, and the electrical stim. I can't recommend this service enough, and if you struggle with a pinched nerve like I did I also found spinal decompression at a chiropractor helpful in conjunction. On top of all of that, he also helped me with my nighmares through herbal medicine! I saw him twice a week for about 2-3 months, and he offers an affordable four pack for appts, and works with insurance.“
