Dive Catalina

Such a great dive experience! We had two experiences - snorkeling and Scuba. Snorkeling in lovers cove was a fun introduction to the Catalina coastline before we did Scuba the next day. It was my daughter's first dive and Shawn was outstanding in making sure she was comfortable at every step. He was very patient and such a terrific guide through the kelp beds. A great intro dive - now she wants to get certified! Thanks! We will be back again!

As us young folks say, this scuba diving experience was A-1! My first time ever scuba diving and I got to see tropical fish and explore the ocean a bit. The instructor does one on one sessions, so you can feel comfortable and safe knowing that you have the utmost care. Since I was a beginner, it took me longer to get used to the goggles and breathing, but the instructor was so patient with me and actually helped me longer than our session was intended.Unfortunately, I did not bring a Go-Pro, but there’s always a nexttime to record!Also, thank you to the other handsome instructor (dirty blonde or light brown hair) who made me feel better. Very friendly and personable staff, private dives, beautiful scenery. Made reservations by phone using a card. Had to make a few follow-up calls with questions, they were always helpful and friendly. We hadn’t been diving for awhile, but Shawn was patient and knowledgeable. It’s obvious he and Ron have done this for awhile and know how to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Once we got settled in the water, Shawn took us for a great kelp forest tour. He knows right where all the attractions are. It was my first ocean dive and favorite dive experience so far.
