Look at his misleading website. MJP Electric is a one man show. It's just Michael. There are no employees and he certainly doesn't have 20 years of experience like his website says. Michael told us he a had paid out $50,000 and needed more money to finish a solar project that was supposed to cost $62,000 after completion. We had already paid him $40,000. This was 18 months after we hired him, listening to excuse after excuse as to why he was taking so long. He told us we needed to complete the PGE paperwork, which we couldn't. Mike did an extensive rewiring on our 100 year old home. He was amazing to work with and kept a positive attitude. We were very please with the work. Just over a year later when we had a problem with something he had touched, even though it was totally unexpected, he came out on a holiday, went to get the retired parts, and came back to fix it. We asked what we owed and he said nothing, it was part of his warranty. Definitely stands behinds his work!
Michael helped me with several electric projects I needed for the remodel. He converted my lighting to recessed LEDs, installed new wire lines and switches (including a new 220V line), installed fixtures, and new switches. He takes care to think of the best solution to difficult situations (we encountered multiple roadblocks). He always responds to calls or texts, and he is very reliable. I really appreciate the care he put into his work. Also, his prices were better than other bids I got. Thanks again!
