I met Jackie when my rescue horse was injured by a mare. I was so grateful to have found her. Being a Thoroughbred, he was very sensitive. He loved Jackie, even when the work was hard for him. He let her work on him. I was so impressed, I asked if she worked on humans. I began working with her on my own issues, which were long standing.Jackie is a gifted practitioner, and true healer. She has a very developed sense of intuition, coupled with the education and skill to do what she does extremely well. I chose Jackie because I am a very sensitive individual and most therapists feel my "rock" shoulders and really dig into me. My body responds by tensing up and "fighting" them off. It's a real lose-lose. As a former massage therapist myself, and as some one who was also trained to do equine massage (massage for horses), I know you have to have very good energy and intuition to be a good horse massage therapist, so I picked Jackie. And I'm very glad I did. I have an auto-immune disease, and my body was sore and stiff and I felt like pretzel with an overall pain level of about a 6-8 (depending on the day).
