I am a veterinarian who started out as a vet assistant at the VMC about 20 years ago. I have finally moved back home & am preparing to offer in home end of life veterinary services with Lap of Love to the families of San Luis Obispo county beginning early August. It was an absolute pleasure to reconnect with the amazing team at VMC this morning; it was as if no time had passed :). Everyone gave my little Petunia a warm welcome, tender & expert care. Dr. Klintworth at VMC is wonderful! She is kind, gentle and very thorough in caring for our big, Yellow Lab. When he sees her in the waiting room his tail wags so hard and he tries to drag me over to her, unusual for dogs at vet clinics. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Klintworth has taken care of and healed Barkley through several unusual illnesses and injuries, And she ALWAYS follows up on his condition. The clinic is spotless and very pleasant to visit.

VMC is such a great place to take your furry loved ones..My boxers think they are at home and never are afraid to go into the office. Dr. Hollstien is a great surgeon and is very good at finding answers that other vets can not..Dr Klintworth is very compassionate and listens to your requests. I am so lucky to have found this practice and wish my human doctors cared as much as my veterinarians do for my furry babies...
