So for background purposes, I'm in my mid-thirties - never had a tattoo, full time in the corporate/healthcare world with a serious #bosslady career. Needless to say, I was nervous AF walking in here with the intent to get my first tattoo of my life that I have been dreaming of for 4 years (yes I know!). Obviously I had serious concerns about whether or not the tattoo artist was even going to take me seriously or listen to what I wanted. My husband and I been meaning to get a matching tattoo. We randomly decided to walk in before work. I have a habit of just walking in without an appointment or I'll chicken out! So we walked on, met Joe. Awesome guy. He allow us to go to the back and "edit" how we want ours before printing it out. My husband was a bit nervous because it's his first tattoo. He decided to get 3 small ones done and plus mine the total was $150 not including tax. Price is beyond reasonable. I've paid $100 for tattoos I wasn't too crazy for. My wife and I came in on the 10th of July and for starters, this place was pretty legit for being a random spot. Had great Japanese and other ethnic inspired items in shop (just don't try and drink the huge bottle of Henny on display). They had a tv in the parlor so the customers can watch while they get their piece done (we were watching Kat Williams). Heard about this place before, but each artist here was pretty chill.
