I want to thank you Felix for all the hard work you did the 1st and 2nd time your art and respect every design we agreed together to make sure they will be perfect and memorable. You went far and beyond on my expectations and I liked, loved, and everyone around me loved especially my baby fofinha. You are a great artist in what you do the best and very professional. Will definitely be returning! Walked in late on a Tuesday with a very vague plan of what I wanted, no appointment. Joe happened to be finishing and said he had some time to help me. Very friendly and easy to work with, he guided me through the process to design and execute my first tattoo. He was super patient and understanding with me, making sure everything was the way I wanted and gave helpful input. I'll be heading back there soon to add a second part

So for background purposes, I'm in my mid-thirties - never had a tattoo, full time in the corporate/healthcare world with a serious #bosslady career. Needless to say, I was nervous AF walking in here with the intent to get my first tattoo of my life that I have been dreaming of for 4 years (yes I know!). Obviously I had serious concerns about whether or not the tattoo artist was even going to take me seriously or listen to what I wanted. I had so many requirements in this ONE tattoo I have been dreaming of for years and ultimately I knew I had to separate it and get two different tattoos to fullfill all checkmarks. It had to be small, feminine, but it also had to geometric, with a lotus, AND it had to reflect my ethnic origins (Cambodian). Because of what I do for a living, I needed it to be effortlessly concealed, but if I wanted to vacay in Bali I wanted to make sure IG knows about this tattoo. So I wanted this on my upper back. I was finally going into California Kings Tattoo for my first tattoo ever. I was very intimidated by all of the art I saw as I walked in. But Joe greeted me immediately, and he was SO. NICE. He listened to everything I wanted from this tattoo. He took my design and cleaned it up a little, and he said it could be in 30 min. Maybe it was the alcohol I took beforehand (I took 2 shots before getting the tattoo), but it felt like 10 min with minimal discomfort!! And it came out so beautifully! I am so in love with my tattoo... I can't wait to get my second. Joe is seriously the best!!!
