I really like Planet Fitness. Checking in is easy, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restrooms are clean. It’s not fancy and it’s also not expensive. Sign up and cancelling are both an easy process.
I was intimidated initially by the idea of using the equipment without someone showing me how - I primarily use the ‘Express 30 min workout’ and there are images of how to use the equipment. Apparently they offer a ‘training session’ but you have to schedule an appt for it and I don’t know if they offer it at all locations. The people that workout at my gym seem really nice. And the ‘recovery center’ is my favorite!

I've been going here for over 2 years now. It's usually pretty clean, gym equipment works, and nothing worn or torn on any of the benches or seat equipment. They have cleaning stations with paper towels and spray throughout the gym. I have the Blackcard so I can also utilize the hydrochair, massage chair, and the infrared room.
Eternally grateful for a kind being of the planet fitness who turned in my lost murse (“man purse”) to the always kind, friendly staff at the front of the purple&gold cockpit in the fitness space of the cosmic craft I journey through every day. They retuned it to me lighter and cleaner than when 3rdlLioneye left it on the pec-deck doing my best Sammie Sulek impression.
There are still good people left in this world, and on the other planets in our fitnessverse.
My only feedback, is to open a bit or 2 earlier on weekends so the 7-day-sunrise-soldiers don’t have to pretend we like sleeping in. Insomniacs don’t give a hoot what day of the lunar calendar...read full review
