I've had the pleasure of knowing Eber Coplin for about 30 years. I knew that he is a barber by trade, but I've never visited his shop, or knew his story, until now. After reading the Sentinel article, I am even more impressed with this soft-spoken, easy-to-like man, whom I have only had the good fortune to see at the annual Coplin Family gatherings, that celebrate his late mother. affectionately known as Nana.
My connection to Eber Coplin is in the form of a first cousin of mine, Kittie, born and raised in Hanford, who is married to Eber's younger brother, Kenny (Kenneth).
Being a follicly-challenged man, I truthfully gave up getting haircuts years ago, and resorted to cutting my own hair -- what little there is to cut. But, I think I owe it to myself, to pay Eber a surprise visit at his Coplin's Barber Shop, and let a master do what he does best.

Such a nice day today! ? Visited six different cemeteries again this year and placed flowers on all of our loved ones’ resting places. ? While we have many mixed emotions throughout the day, we tell many stories and enjoy good memories. ?
We always look forward to seeing the state of each cemetery as the ones in charge know there will be more visitors this weekend more than any other. ? For the last few years, Washington Colony has won in our book, but this year Grangeville Cemetery won by a mile—huge flags displayed around the cemetery and their grass looked green and healthy! Very eye-catching! ????????????
