Called in for my kids hair cut since we just moved out here. Gave this place a try Ruben was very welcoming in and did 1 of my kids hair and came out clean and nice. But there’s a girl name Lupita that did my other son hair and was very rude and rough on my kid he kept complaining she was rough and hurting him the whole time. (Best believe my son gets a hair cut every month and never got a complain about him moving etc) so when I was about to pay I asked Ruben to clean him up and fix his hair and he right away did it and left him looking bette will be coming back but booking with Ruben next time!
It was a pretty good haircut despite the language barrier between me and the barber, i understand spanish and just didn’t speak it so it wasn’t that complicated. He ended up using the straight edge razor for the majority of the cut so it was clean. I wanted a bit of a fade in the back but couldn’t communicate that to him. He showed him a picture of how i expected the back to be but he adjusted due to poor communication. He made a cut that i didnt expect to still be good. He was very talented and great in his art.
I highly recommend this barber shop! Ruben, the owner gave me a great cut and fade for only $30. He's been cutting hair apparently since he was 12 years old and just opened this shop. The place is stylish and cool. I live in the neighborhood, I'll definitely be back!
