This little nook deserves a standing ovation. This salon on 1st Ave is exactly the type of salon I was looking for. Samir is an experienced stylist w decades of work under his belt. He is very easy to talk to and does what you want, not what he wants. He will discuss fully your options w coloring or cutting. He's not trying to upsell you on something you don't want. It's a comfortable place with no pretensions.

I can always trust Joe and Susan to do a great job on my hair. They have both been gracious if I've wanted small things changed afterwards and they're willing to be honest and tell you if something you're planning is maybe not the best idea and they'll take the time to explain why.

Joe's schedule gets pretty full so definitely schedule in advance.
