I forgot who I had as a teacher, but I remember Mr. Wang being quite good. I didn't really like the Armenian teachers. Very uninspiring way to teach students. Just follow the sheet music and play without intuition ("Handing them a friggen packet yo"). Turned me off from playing until many years later rediscovered my passion in college. Everyone learns differently, it just didn't work out for me.

WORST SCHOOL EVER!!! We started the the 1st piano class on 9/17/21. On 9/23/21, we went the 2nd lesson. The piano teacher Mr Wang( which he is also principal of the school) asked my daughter how was the practice, so my daughters said she forgot to practice the page that he assigned last week. so Mr Wang started to yell to my daughter and me for about 30 mins and kick us out from the school. We didn't get the chance to say anything, he is not listening at all. I did told him that last week we have some family issue so I didn't get the chance to ask my daughter to practice, he just don't listen and also yelled at me. Later he asked the front desk give me a refund the check and kick us out. The front desk also really bad attitude keep saying this is PARENT'S FAULT!!! If parent don't push kid to learn piano just don't come here. She said many times. We are so shocked how they treated a little girl like this. That really hurt my daughter's feeling and she was so upset and don't want to talk to us the whole night. She even have nightmare that night. Now worst thing is she scare to play piano, she is so refuse to touch the keyboard. That could be traumatic for her. Please DON'T GO TO THIS SCHOOL UNLESS YOU WANT SOME CRAZY PEOPLE TREAT YOU REALLY BAD.

This music school is very good ， My kid just passed the CM.test and got Excellent. He will go to performance in Carnegie Hall in New York and Europe this year, thank to these outstanding teachers and especially appreciate Mr Wang,he make my son improve so fast ,we enjoy the music!
