I bought a used ukulele and needed strings and accessories. The gentleman knew exactly what I needed and the prices were good. I got the feeling they are customer oriented, not sales oriented. Parking is decent. The music store is at the opposite end of the shopping center from Safeway. I like this store, you will too!

This place is the best! As a piano teacher I found it near impossible to walk into any store and purchase music books anymore. I started shopping at Jansen's shortly after they moved from Watsonville to Aptos and have always had excellent customer service with a great selection of books. If they didn't have it they would order it for me. I recently moved up to Oregon, so sadly I won't be able to shop there often anymore- but before I left town I was eyeballing a gorgeous etched kalimba in the shop. Love this store! I've been coming here for years as I have 3 sons who play guitar. A variety of quality music instruments to choose from and always accommodating. It's a pleasure to support our local merchants.? ( and I've been happy with the music instructors who teach there also)
