I am editing my review as Pella resolved the issue I was having. It took some time (due to materials shortages, everything is backed up) but they replaced my door with a beautiful door, just like it should have been from the start.
They were very professional and efficient.
The new door is perfect. I understand manufacturer errors happen at times and I am glad Pella resolved this issue and helped us get the door we should have had from the start.
My recommendation is to just reach out to Pella directly instead of dealing with Lowe’s (that’s a whole other story)

We cannot speak more highly of Tyler and particularly his service throughout the buying and installation process. He made multiple trips to our home to take measurements and after delivery and installation of the new windows and doors. He was even here on the delivery date itself to inspect everything and make sure that the delivery was smooth and we had all of the component parts such as screens. That kind of service is rare these days. Tyler is also personable and easy to work with. Highly recommended. The products also seem good and high quality.
I received a prompt phone call after posting a project request on Yelp. The gentleman told me the local representative would call within 24 hours. Sure enough Jennifer called soon after. After explaining what I needed, she advised that her contractor doesn't like to do this type of job. I appreciated her honesty. She sent me her contact information in case I wasn't able to locate something else.
