I searched the area for a sole repair. Alamo? No way, right? It had to be way over priced, right?

I called, however, and the prices sounded quite reasonable so I got my shoes repaired there.

How'd it go? What a joyful experience. No miracles. He just resoled my shoes, but he did a wonderful job. What else could you ask for? Completely happy.

My backpack zipper broke right before a international trip and I was in a bind to find somewhere local to fix it.I googled backpack repair and strangely enough this shop that I have driven past since I was a kid popped up. Called in and asked if they could repair backpacks, which amazingly they could.Given the circumstances they managed to even expedite it by a day and returned my backpack in new condition with a perfectly functioning zipper.Great service and quality of work. I’m sure they do amazing shoe repair too given that’s what they actually do lol. I’ll definitely remember for next time.

It has been several years since I've had to have a designer pair of shoes repaired. Recently, I attended the memorial after a funeral and it didn't know that there was Astroturf where we're walking around on and the little rubber nubs on the bottom of my stilettos sunk in the ground somewhere and when I left I heard myself clicking and clacking around to see that I was only walking on steel stubs on my formerly cute and adorable Manolo Blahnik's. First of all, this was very embarrassing when you're supposed to be dressed up nicely and then your shoes suddenly look cheap. When I came home, I look to see if the last place I went to still had good reviews and the reviews have dropped since then so I tried the next closest place that had the best reviews and at least it was close by in Alamo. Juana greeted me pleasantly and reassured me that she would be able to repair the shoes in a few days. I picked up the shoes today, and am really happy with the outcome. She only charged me $15, so I tipped her $5 because I had cash today. Great value!Note: Super tight parking lot, so I hope you are a good driver as this one guy took several minutes to just get out of the spot I was waiting for.
