About Whetstone's Barber Salon

Whetstone's Barber Salon is a welcoming and friendly place. The barbers are kind and patient, especially with children. Yair is the best, so warm and talented. He provides a fantastic job, great customer service and is very professional. The space is welcoming and chic and modern and the value is beyond measure. The salon is set back a bit from Agoura Road so it's easy to miss, but well worth the search for an excellent experience with a haircut and a hot shave.

This is the best barbershop I have ever been to. The shop is really nice place, Yair is down-to-earth and easy to talk to. He cares about his craft and he is very attentive to details. He is very professional, accommodating and personable. The area is clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this cool barber shop to everyone.

The best haircut I’ve ever had. Yair Whetstone personally called to confirm my appointment, then gave me something most men never get: a real consultation. He talked through the potential of my hair, gave me options specific to me, explained every step, and helped shape a longer-term vision for the style.

He’s clearly a master stylist, but humble, easy to talk to, and not pushy at all. He even taught me what to look for with products without trying to sell me anything.

For $55, the value is honestly ridiculous. Yair raises the bar for what a men’s haircut should be. Highly recommend.

My 3 year old had his first haircut here, and the experience was absolutely amazing.
Yair was incredibly patient, kind, and professional, creating such a calm and positive atmosphere.
He took his time, made my child feel comfortable, and delivered a beautiful haircut.
Could not have asked for a better first haircut experience. Highly recommend.
