I had graduated from West Coast Detective Academy in 1995. I wanted to take updated classes on surveillance and report writing but WCDA was closed. As an alternative I took the courses at Nick Harris Detective Academy on the school premises. Both teachers were excellent. Before I could finish my studies there something unthinkable happened. A woman impersonating me scheduled a class. I've heard that the imposter insulted the report writing teacher while posing as me. I never found out if my email account was spoofed or if I was impersonated by a spoof telephone ID fraudulently displaying my phone number. I was told not to come back to the school for the rest of my prepaid in full report writing classes and to not ever contact the teacher again. I was told to learn from specific online sites instead. I never made an appointment without calling to cancel and not showing up. I never said anything negative about the teachers. I'm innocent. I found out who did this to frame me.

My Mom graduated from Nick Harris Detective academy on December 21,1985. She was a highly successful private detective. I would highly recommend this agency for a career in this type of work.

Great experience! Lots of support after I graduated. They also promoted a state investigator association that members only cost me $40 instead of $130 because I was a student at the school! The classes weren't only a great educational they were fun. We did surveillance, lie detection, found hidden cameras and microphones and a lot more. It really wasn't like any school I had been to before. Also they had periodic meetings where they invite working investigators to come and do an Q & A. I also did some private classes.
