My son had his home cleaned yesterday and it's just 2 baths, 3 bedrooms, and a small kitchen. When my granddaughter got home, she was really upset at the amount we paid for very little cleaning! She said the maids had taken a dirty towel and folded it up and put it on her bed. She said that she was shocked at how little cleaning had been done. We paid for 2 people for two hours and it WAS NOT cheap. Will not have them back. According to my granddaughter, they didn't even mop. This house is only about 1200 square feet. (My son did say that the people were friendly and polite so at least that is a plus.)

The office told my grandfather they would be arriving later than scheduled but they arrived even later than that. I had to go over their work because it seemed they did not wipe things down only dusted them so there were still dirt marks on the blinds, window sills, baseboards, etc. They were too fast and not detail oriented. The oven was not touched at all! And the counters still had a film of grime on them. My grandfather is in his eighties so he does not notice much and paid them anyway. What was supposed to be a deep cleaning ended up being not even light cleaning. I asked that baseboards, cupboards, etc., to be deep cleaned. I was out of town when they came, and the owner told my mother after the fact that my adult son could not tell him what I wanted, even though everything was covered with me on the telephone. I came home to a dirty house. Floors looked like they hadn't been touched, side tables, tables, bathrooms were covered in dust. Floors around toilets were filthy, cupboards and baseboards were not touched. We were charged twice because my house was bigger than they thought yet he knew the square footage before they came.
