I've been using this facility for several months, and it has been filthy every time I've come. There are several fire code violations, and the equipment is very poorly maintained /broken. The owner's contact info is no longer posted, so they cannot be contacted in case of emergency.Specifically, washer 9 locked but would not run (I had to unplug it to get my clothes out, and of course lost my money) and dryer 2b did not produce any heat. Neither of these machines are marked as out of order.

I wanna start by saying that I didn't have high hopes for a laundromat. They're usually all at least a little disgusting and gross, but this place is BY FAR, the most vile and revolting place I've ever had to spend time in. The only real value this place has is the virture that it is the only laundromat in Ucluelet! After leaving, I felt the all-encompassing urge to get checked for STIs because I feel like just breathing the air in here could give someone syphilis. The washing machines look like they have mold in the doors, there's abandoned clothes and garbage everywhere, and half the machines don't even work. Many of the washers and driers were broken. The detergent vending machine long ago gave up the ghost. Place was generally messy and uninviting. Change machine worked and you’ll need $5, $10 or $20 to get quarters for the machines. If there were another choice then here, you should go there.
