About Jungle Suds Laundromat
Jungle Suds Laundromat is a small-town facility with four double load washers, one maxi load washer, and seven dryers. All machines accept quarters, and there's a change machine available. Customers should bring their own detergent and dryer sheets, as the detergent dispenser is broken. The laundry area is clean, and the machines work well, making it an efficient place for laundry. The laundromat features fantastic washing machines that are always squeaky clean. Free detergent options like Tide, Purex, Gain, and Bounty are available, which many find convenient and cost-saving. The prices are very affordable—only 15 cents per load—and the machines take about 30 minutes to wash. The dryers cost 25 cents per 3 minutes, and setting them for 30 minutes dries clothes with medium heat. Nearby, there are a cafe, a restaurant, a brewery, a supermarket, a hair salon, and a post office, making it a convenient spot for laundry and errands. The staff maintains the machines regularly, ensuring they are always in good condition, and the facility follows current fire safety standards, adding to the overall safety and reliability.
This place is overall not bad and it’s nice to have a laundromat in the community, but definitely not great.
The interior is quite dusty and dirty, the laundry detergent machines are empty so you’ll have to bring your own or go to coop or the den to grab some soap and some of the machines don’t work and there’s no number to call or maintenance. It really relies on the kindness of the community to post about problems they’ve had, some people write signs to let you know which machines are broken.
Some redeeming things: the community post board is great! My clothes came out pretty clean.
Small washers are 3.50 a load, the double loads are $7....read full review
The laundry is clean, the price is reasonable. So it's okay. The salon looks very dingy, some machines are broken, the detergent machine is empty. So bring your own detergent (there is a supermarket nearby). The coin changer worked well for us (you need 25 cent coins for everything).
Full-size washing machine; 13 x 25 cents (i.e. $3.25), about 30 minutes
Large washing machine; 28 x 25 cents (i.e. 7 dollars), approx. 30 minutes
dryer/tumbler; 25 cents per 3 minutes. We set it for 30 minutes and the laundry dried well with medium heat.
Right next to it there is a cafe, a restaurant, a brewery, a supermarket, a hair salon and the post office.
Ugh. I was so excited to accomplish the tedium of laundry. Walking into this laundromat deflated my enthusiasm. Half the machines were inoperable. There was a pool of water on the floor. The machines that were operable were filthy. The folding table was grungy and filthy.
It's such a shame that such a lucrative business doesn't maintain their facilities better. If at all possible I encourage any consumer to find a laundry alternative if possible.
