After a bad customer service experience at the front counter I was contacted by the owner who apologized for the poor service and it was clear he was doing what he could to remedy the situation.
We had a good discussion and I do believe he was serious in his apologies and his commitment to use this as a learning opportunity for his staff member.
I have reclassified this from one to four stars due to the managers professional response to my concerns.

We have no words to say how grateful we are, Matias helped us diagnose a problem with a used car we just bought, made a report, gave us all the information we needed to confront the dealership and gave us his card in case we needed help. With his help and guidance we managed to get free parts and labour from the dealership. Matias exceeded at all levels, we are now Kal Tire clients for life. ??
