2 years ago when my husbands health was heading in a downward trajectory and I knew he was not going to get better I reached out to Victory Memorial and made choices, prepaid arrangements for my husband and my self and found the staff very helpful, kind and did not try to change my mind but rather made respectful suggestions. When my husbands death occurred a phone call was made to Victory and an in person meeting was held and because of the pre-arrangements I had made the meeting was short and I was soon on my way home. All staff that I met with and spoke to were excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Victory Memorial, South Surrey.
From the moment we contacted Victory we have been so supported and cared for. The entire team, no matter who we talked to, was so kind. What was an incredibly difficult time was made easier to navigate and plan. They took care of every single detail and things we would have never anticipated. The building and grounds were so well kept, peaceful, calming and beautiful - they honored our mother so well. Guests, loved one and immediate family had so many wonderful things to say afterwards. Death is not an easy subject to talk or think about. The industry of death is something alot of us avoid. That includes me as well. But not thinking about it doesn't mean you won't have to deal with the aftermath.
Under unfortunate circumstances, I was helped by this company for both the funeral home side of the business and the burial. They make sure the family was as comfortable with the process as possible. Specially Chris Wong and Sally who dealt with my family case.
I do not wish to think about the business of death. But nevertheless, this company has help alot on the process. Do think ahead if you are reading this review.
