Kris at U-Pass Driving School is no bullshit. He'll cut the small talk and make you focus on the drive. He drills the fundamentals until they're automatic...mirror, signal, shoulder check, mirror, signal, shoulder check. By the end I was doing it without thinking. He's good at the small stuff too. Helped me fix the timing on my shoulder checks so they'd read clearly to an examiner. Walked me through the fine adjustments for reverse parking. He knows what the test is looking for and he'll get you doing it cleanly and emphatically enough that there's no ambiguity.
