My wife's vehicle A/C had stopped working which of course had coincided with our May heat wave. Usually I'd have had friends look at it but they were too busy. So I gave a few local shops a call. Most were either booking weeks in advance or extremely high prices(requested recharge quotes).They gave a reasonable quote and said to come in at a specific time. I dropped off the same day and given a time to come back. Turned out there was an issue with the compressor. Most shops would just quote that part and leave it at that.
