I have been the occasional customer to GAM Shoe Repair since the days they were located inside of Guildford Town Centre. When they vacated the mall location, I was happy to discover they had moved to the local strip mall just across the street.I've taken my boots there a couple times to be fixed; once to repair the inner lining, and most recently to resole them. Every time the service has been polite and professional, and they make a point to let you know the work that will be done. Turnaround time has always been very reasonable (I usually pick them up within a week) and I've always been happy with the quality of the repairs. I have never tried to compare prices to other establishments, but I have never felt like I had been ripped off. It has been worth it to repair my boots rather than go out and buy a whole brand new pair. I have another pair of heels and boots that will need to be resoled soon, and I will definitely be heading to GAM.Note: they only accept debit cards or cash, to avoid the credit card fees charged to businesses.
Needed my patent shoes fixed up for a wedding and these guys did a great job. Turned out better than I expected and on time. Courteous staff and reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.
