“I had my used Nissan Leaf inspected by Motorize Electric Vehicles in Sidney before purchase. They noted that the front control arms were likely due for replacement, but at the time everything still felt fine during driving. I had multiple people—including myself, the seller, my wife, and my dad—drive the car, and none of us noticed any obvious issues. I also later had new tires installed, and the tire shop inspected the control arms as well, saying they all looked good. Based on that, I decided to hold off on the repair to save some money.
Unfortunately, the control arm eventually failed while driving, and the vehicle had to be towed.
In hindsight, Motorize’s initial assessment turned out to be accurate, even though other inspections suggested everything was okay. It was a reminder that early warnings from experienced mechanics can be more important than how a vehicle feels in the moment.
Overall, this experience showed me that Motorize Electric Vehicles knows what they are doing and takes potential safety issues seriously.”
