“Birch & Lace was such a wonderful part of our wedding experience in Revelstoke, and I am so glad we chose them for our wedding day!
From the very beginning, Gabi was fantastic. She was so happy, energetic, and welcoming, and she made coordinating everything for our wedding morning incredibly easy. She was wonderful with communication and helped arrange all of the bookings so my bridal group could have hair and makeup done right on site at the resort. Gabi, thank you so much for all of your hard work — it made such a difference!
I had the opportunity to do my hair and makeup trial at the salon in town, which was bright, beautiful, and so inviting. Meeting Whitney and Jessa was honestly so much fun. I knew almost immediately that these were my kind of people. Not only are they incredibly talented at what they do, but they are both so interesting, genuine, and full of the best stories. I could have spent the whole afternoon chatting with them!
During my trial, Gabi also recommended that I try their spray tan before the wedding. I had only ever experienced spray tans in a booth, so this was a completely new experience for me, but I am so glad I gave it a try. Lavina took the time to consider my skin tone, as well as my future husband's, so that I would have a beautiful glow without looking like I had just returned from a tropical vacation while he had not 😂. The color was absolutely perfect! I didn't feel sticky, I didn't have that typical spray tan smell, and the color was customized perfectly for me. I would absolutely do it again.
Then came the wedding day, and Whitney and Jessa arrived with all the bells and whistles! They had a full morning of beauty planned for myself, all of my bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride and groom, and somehow managed to keep everything fun and relaxed even when the inevitable little chaotic wedding-morning moments popped up. They were such a fun part of our morning and fit right in with our group.
And the final results? Absolutely perfect. My hair and makeup looked even better than I had imagined, and both lasted beautifully through the entire wedding day and night. I never once had to worry about my hair falling apart or my makeup fading — I could simply enjoy the day.
Whitney, Jessa, Lavina and Gabi, thank you for being such a memorable part of my wedding day. You didn't just make us look beautiful; you made the entire morning so much fun and helped bring my vision to life. I will always look back on getting ready with you girls as one of my favorite parts of the day.
