By far the best and most honest shoe repair professional I’ve ever come across. A long history in the business, fast, efficient, fair and priced reasonably. Honest about what can and can’t be done. Got my suede and sheep skin moccasins restitched for $30 in 45 minutes vs buying a new pair for $140. Old school effort, approach, work ethic, and quality workmanship. Be a shame once they are gone and condos take over the space.
I was pretty pleased with the work done on my shoes. Prices are reasonable. Charge is based on the difficulty of the work done (obviously) so I didn’t give him all of the shoes I wanted, based on cost. But for the shoes Steve did work on, I’m happy with the work he did and the price I paid
Straightforward, honest, quick. Got the heels of my boots fixed. They were in pretty bad shape, and the owner was extremely transparent about how it may be wiser to buy a new pair rather than get it fixed by him. I went with the repair, and without me even asking, he assured me that if he cannot fix it, he will not charge me. The repair only took a day, so far so good!
