The Savoy was the last stop for our family on a cross Canada road trip on our way home. The Savoy couldn’t have been a better choice. Modern and stylish but the bed was ultra comfortable and the room had every amenity. Slept like a baby. We immediately talked about coming back for a longer stay for some summer hiking and winter skiing.

The Savoy, a nicely renovated boutique hotel, has compact and very comfortable rooms with state of the art shower/sauna stalls, towel and floor heat in the bathroom, and very comfy beds. Great a/c and the choice of opening windows. Rooms are on the second floor, up 2 flights - no elevator but we found it quite manageable. Centrally located, with an easy walk to pubs/restaurants, shopping/points of interest and the market. Great lounging area on the rooms floor, as well as a rooftop area with hot tub and seating which we found lovely for evening lounging.
