Nelson Auto Repair is an honest and trustworthy auto repair shop. They provide proper diagnoses and give honest advice about what repairs are best done immediately and what can wait. They are known for being well priced, often quoting much lower than other shops. The service is incredible, with clear communication. They have been known not to charge for inspections or advice when no work is needed. A common downside is that they are often booked far ahead, likely due to their excellent reputation for being kind and trustworthy.
I took my vehicle here to have my muffler inspected. Got a proper diagnoses and some honest advice that resulted in no fix being necessary at this time. A lot of mechanics might've taken advantage of my situation but they were 100% honest and did what was best for my vehicle. To top it off, they didn't charge me a dime! I definitely recommend these guys.
Honest, kind and well priced. I called every single auto repair shop in nelson and was quoted double the price that nelson auto repair quoted me. Told me what was best to get done asap and what could wait, worked around and understood my financial difficulties and had clear communication about what was going to be done. Only downside is they’re booked far ahead, (probably due to being the best priced and a small business). If my vehicle needs work in the future I will be going here again!Services: Auto brake repair
Incredible service. I authorized a front brake job on my Subaru Outback. An hour after I dropped it off, they called to say that the brakes were over 50% remaining and the grading sound was coming from rusty but fully functional rotors. They provided very inexpensive options to repair or said I could pick up the car as is. They didn't even charge for the time spent examining the issue and explaining it to me.
