The check engine light in my Hyundai came on about four months ago. I took the car to my mechanic who scanned it with an OBD2 and said the problem was transmission related - probably the temperature sensor - and perhaps other parts as well. He used his reader to shut off the check engine light and told me to come back if and when the light came back on again. A couple of months later it did.
But rather than take it back to my regular mechanic I decided to invite a transmission shop to diagnose the problem and quote on repair. I wound up taking the car to 4 different shops in the White Rock area including the local Hyundai Dealer. Their diagnoses were... read full review

I spent several years, 2 dealerships, another transmission place, and a fuel injection company trying to get my car diagnosed. Not only did none of the other places diagnose my car's problem they didn't even think there was anything wrong with it. Jodie and the crew at A & B not only were able to experience the problem, they diagnosed it and repaired it. I needed 2 Solonoids replaced, on top of fixing my car they also informed me when I walked in to collect my car that they didn't need as many hours to complete the job as they had quoted so my bill was $500 less than they quoted me.
